Albuquerque - the perfect southwest destination with so much to see and do...

Albuquerque used to be considered a gateway to other places in New Mexico, but travelers are finding out that Albuquerque is a perfect southwest destination because there is so much to do here. "Burque" is also a perfect and often more affordable home base for day trips to Santa Fe, Acoma - Sky City, Taos, Socorro and many other surrounding areas. albuquerque bio park Albuquerque Bio Park - Biopark includes Albuquerque's Zoo, Botanic Garden and Aquarium. An all day pass is discounted for all three venues.
indian pueblo cultural center
Indian Pueblo Cultural Center - This is the best place to find out about New Mexico's Pueblo Indians. From here you can link to all of the Pueblos in the state.
Acoma sky city Acoma Pueblo/Sky City - Discover a thousand years of history. Tour the oldest continuously inhabited community in North America.
rio grande state park The Rio Grande Nature Center State Park is another oasis in the heart of the city. 270 acres of riparian woodlands, many educational programs for all ages, tours, walks and special events. Check out this site for more information and a schedule of events.
