Albuquerque Halloween Fun – Trolley of Terror!!!

If you are coming to Albuquerque towards or at the end of October, and you are into ghosts and the paranormal, or even if you are a local seeking something fun and different to do….I’ve got just the fix for you!

In one of my previous posts I raved about my experience with the Albuquerque Trolley Company. Now they have taken the tour of Albuquerque a step further with a special edition of the Tour de Albuquerque – the Trolley of Terror!!! Actually, I can’t wait. I watch TAPS, and Paranormal State, and a few other ghost-related shows on cable tv, (mostly because my husband does and I happen to be sitting in the same room playing around on my laptop), but I am only mildly amused by these shows. It’s just entertainment. But a guided tour of my hometown is very compelling. I LOVE history, and if it is creepy and morbid, all the better.

The Trolley of Terror is a special 90 minute tour of the city’s secret haunts, and your special hosts are trained ghost hunters from the Paranormal Society of Albuquerque. With Albuquerque being one of the oldest communities in America and with all good, bad, strange and unexplained that goes along with this long history, you can well imagine there are plenty of spirits still lingering here. Hangings, duels, sickness, disappearances, and murders – yup – we’ve had it all!

WHEN: Tours will run Oct 22, 23 & 24 and Oct 29, 30 & 31 see their website for exact times. (Some nights have an early and a late departure, Fri & Sat – 7:30pm and 9:30pm. $7:30 pm on Thurs.)

WERE: Plaza San Luis (303 Romero St. SW in Old Town Albuquerque
PG-13 – no youngsters please!

You may purchase tickets in advance, (recommended!), at the Albuquerque Trolley Co. website, or take you chances showing up 30 minutes before departure time to buy tickets on site. Only 34 passengers allowed per tour on the Trolley.

The Albuquerque Trolley is Open Air – so dress appropriately! It really cools down after dark in Albuquerque. Be prepared.

I know the best things to do in Albuquerque!
