I have added a page to this blog titled “What IS a Bed and Breakfast?” I did this because of a new branding campaign spear headed by PAII, the Professional Association of Innkeepers International, in an effort to make more travelers aware of Bed and Breakfast Inns. There is a lot of misconception as to what a bed and breakfast is, and even more frightening to me, as a B&B owner, most people don’t even think of a bed and breakfast inn when making travel plans.
My aim is to introduce potential guests to Bed and Breakfasts Inns as an alternative to staying in a hotel or motel when traveling for business or pleasure. Bed and Breakfasts themselves can even be a fantastic destination. I hope you will take the time to read this, my newest blog page. Even if you are already a fan of B&Bs you may learn something new, and if you think you have an idea of what they are you may be in for a few myths to be busted. That’s me – the Myth Buster for B&Bs.
If you have friends who you would like to introduce to the world of Bed and Breakfasts, please forward this link to them. Let them know that they don’t have to share a bath with strangers, they don’t have to eat unrecognizable breakfast food, they don’t need to leave the kids at home, or their dog, they won’t have to break the bank, and that a Better Way to Stay awaits them all over the world. Tweet this and help us spread the word…B&Bs they’re not just for Grandma anymore!
