Often they sit on the front porch of our villa (with the big view down to the Caribbean below). From just this porch our birders say that they have seen more birds than when they hike around in the jungle trying to find habitats. I’m not an experienced birder but I love the night sounds and varied bird calls. My favorite bird here is the lizard cuckoo with it’s long striped tail.
