Tour of Albuquerque – the Trolley is Ready to Roll!

The Albuquerque, ABQ Trolley Company begins its second season this week. Tours of Albuquerque’s core, the heart of the Duke City, begin on April 1, 2010. Last year I took two tours on the Trolley, one special tour for innkeepers and the “Trolley of Terror”  on Halloween Night. Both were a blast. I thought after 30 years in Albuquerque I knew just about everything there was to pass on to visitors, but my Trolley ride proved me wrong, and I learned a lot. These guys know what they are doing and will show you a good time, be you a tourist from anywhere or a seasoned local, (affectionately called “burqueõs”).

The ABQ Trolley Co. has risen to the top on the popular review site, TripAdvisor.com, becoming the #1 attraction in Albuquerque out of 129 that are listed on the site. It is a fabulous feat to get there in one year of business, and that tells you just how great this tour is. Many of our Bed and Breakfast guests have taken the ABQ Trolley 18 mile tour of Albuquerque, and everyone of them said it was well worth it.

ABQ Trolley Tour of AlbuquerqueTo entice you further, I have some discounted tickets for your ABQ Trolley tour of Albuquerque, and I can charge them right to your room. Be sure to check out their web site for more info, and check out my previous post for a real feel for the best tour in Albuquerque. But remember, I have the tickets at a discount here at Adobe Nido.

The pick up and drop off point is just 2 1/2 miles from Adobe Nido in Old Town. If you will be visiting Albuquerque for The Balloon Fiesta, you should consider a special evening tour to one of the Balloon Fiesta Glows. It is the BEST way to experience these night time events.

No matter which tour in Albuquerque you choose, the ABQ Trolley is the BEST first thing to do in Albuquerque! Plan on it!
