I wrote last year about the fantastic music scene in Albuquerque during the summer months. This year I decided that the Zoo Music program deserves its own mention, and because it returns again and again every year you can well imagine what a hit Zoo Music at the Albuquerque Bio Park is. The price is right for a concert these days, and you get to see the animals too! A perfect afternoon and evening activity for Burqueños and Turistas alike.
The lineup of entertainers always includes local, regional, national and international entertainers offering a diverse repertoire of music. There is something to suit everyone. The sound is great because the band shell was built just for this purpose. The evenings always cool off here in Albuquerque, and the audience area is shaded from the even sunshine. Be cool! Beer and wine and other beverages are available as well as food items. Don’t try to bring in your own alcoholic beverages – not ok, but you may picnic in your own food.
