You can get a fantastic view of Luxembourg from Albuquerque, New Mexico lately. Say “what?” The Anderson-Abruzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum is a great place to visit on your trip to Albuquerque, and now showing along with their standing exhibits is a beautiful photo exposé of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
What does The Balloon Museum have to do with Luxembourg or photography, you may ask? A valid question. The Balloon Museum has the honor of showing this exhibit because these photos were all taken from a hot air balloon.
Luxembourg By Hot Air Balloon is an exhibit of 32 photos by a noted author and photographer from Luxembourg, Rob Kieffer. The photos are from a book by the same name and the exhibit is owned by Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The scenery is more than beautiful. You shouldn’t miss this one folks. We are lucky to share this exhibit with such cities as Amsterdam, Brussels, Prague, Vienna, Lisbon, Bangkok and New York. That’s an amazing list for Albuquerque to be on, and we have the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum to thank for this opportunity.
Admission is just the regular museum admission, ($4 non residents, $3 residents), and is running now through March 25, 2012, Tuesdays through Sundays, 9am to 5pm. Here’s where it’s at:
