Breaking Bad Summer Tour in Albuquerque – UPDATE!

This Post has been updated with a NEW DATE added – July 29, 2012
read to bottom for details

Are you a Breaking Bad Fan? Are you coming to Albuquerque in July, or even thinking about it? If so, I have a plan for you!

The AMC cable tv series Breaking Bad takes place in Albuquerque, and is filmed right here on location, so the city is one big set for the show. That’s very cool for all of us who are fans here, because we see these places all the time, but for non-Burqueños it could take forever to find these locations on your own. I have seen people try. But here’s the deal…ABQ Trolley Co Logo

We have an awesome and unusual tour company here that will not only take you to the best Breaking Bad locations on an open air trolley, but will make it more fun than you could possible have on your own.

The ABQ Trolley Company makes every tour they run a great time, but this “BaD Tour” is even badder than the others.  The tour coincides with the anxiously awaited Season 5 (Final Season) opener of Breaking Bad (July 15 tour only), and starts with a Private Premiere at the new Back Alley Draft House on Central Ave inside the JC’s NY Pizza. Enjoy NY’s Pizza, (I really do!), salad and refreshments. Breaking Bad trivia games with prizes will happen all along the route. (Later July dates are “tour only”. No viewing party.)

Old Train Yards, AlbuquerqueMany locations will be covered on the tour, including Jesse’s and Walter’s houses, the car wash, the laundry, the lawyer’s office, rail yards, Crossroads Motel…and a whole lot more. (On a personal note, I am hoping they go by the place where Combo was shot, because Rodney Rush who played Combo, happens to be a friend I am very fond of. Rodney…please drop in is you see this…it’s been too long! Rodney is pursuing his life through music.

Here is the skinny on the ABQ Trolley Co.’s NEW “BaD Tour”… there are only 34 tickets and they go on sale on Tuesday – July 3, 9am – TOMORROW!!!  Go to their BaD Tour page on the website, the link to get tickets will be available there soon.

ABQ Trolley’s NEW  “BaD Tour”
Sunday, July 29, 3:30pm to 7pm
$55 per person and worth every penny!

Break Bad yourself. Run off to Albuquerque for a few days, enjoy our sunny city and this most awesome ABQ Trolley Co. event of the season!

Yes…the new season starts in the Spring – April or May, and there WILL be more Bad Tours, as they were a very big hit ….and there’s one more season to go for Breaking Bad. Go to ABQ Trolley’s website, get on their mailing list and you will be among the first to know when it all starts again…http://www.abqtrolley.com

Super cool! I am a huge fan of the show, and would love to take this tour when visiting Albuquerque. This is a truly unique idea, that I’m sure is buzzing now, most especially because of the popularity of the new season.

I hope you can make it, Marc! Perhaps for the next ABQ Trolley Season. I don’t think this tour will disappear. Way too popular.
