If you live in or are visiting Albuquerque this summer you have no excuse to not enjoy great music. Along with the great line up presented by the New Mexico Jazz Festival this July, the New Mexico Jazz Workshop has created even more venues for Jazz, Blues and Salsa music this summer.
Salsa, Jazz & Blues under the Stars
As told in the title – these community concerts are performed at night, rain or stars, at the Albuquerque Museum Amphitheater and start before dark. The doors, (so to speak because there really aren’t any doors), open at 6:30 pm and the music runs until 10pm. And there is plenty of room to dance your buns off! Tickets are available online at the NM Jazz Workshop’s ticket site.
Fridays concert prices: $13 general admission, students and seniors $11.
Saturday concert prices: $15 general admission, students and seniors $13.

On Sunday’s in July you may enjoy Jazz on the upstairs patio at Seasons Rotisserie & Grill, just a few blocks from Old Town Plaza and the Albuquerque Museum. Seasons offers up fantastic food, with a full menu in the main dining room downstairs, and lighter fair at the bar and patio upstairs. (No worries for the stairs impaired…there is an elevator!) There are other goings on at Seasons besides music and great food, so be sure to check their website for a peek at upcoming events and their seasonally changing menu.
